You want to see the purest form of love ? Go straight up to your mother and have a gaze at her lovely face !
For an embryo, mother is a source of food
For an infant, she is all about love and care
For an adolescent, she is an uplifter of mood
For an adult, she is all about being tough and fair
There was a time when our mother was the one to whom we were always glued
As we developed into our stubborn selves, she is the one who relentlessly longs for our glare
A mother grows with us, from us being naive to being prude
Keep her close and don’t become her despair
She’s up when we are tired, weak or sick
But are we awake when she’s down, is that a trick ?
She’s the only one who cares about us being happy and healthy more than us being successful and established
And we ironically, care about the worldly possessions that would adorn us and would make us look embellished
Taking our mother for granted has somehow become our second nature
What’s stopping us from being empathetic towards her ; our little money, our delusional network or our falsified stature
A mother is the only one who can deduce your temper by your face’s hue
She doesn’t see anything beyond you and that’s why I say She’s the one for you !
